Rich Coast Diving is a well-established scuba diving company located in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste. The company was originally founded in 1993, but was taken over by the current owners, Martin and Brenda van Gestel. Rich Coast Diving has received plenty of fame and acclaimed awards because of its stellar service and track record. The stats show that they have received a Green Star award in Costa Rica and are the sole PADI s* CDC facility available in the area. Their boats and cruise ships have fixed daily schedules that take their guests for dives, snorkeling and even PADI courses offered by professionally trained staff. The training programs offered by this dive company are vigorous but worth the end result. They take in everyone from beginners to professional divers, looking for PADI certification. The schedule is tough and keeps all the divers on their toes but at the end of the program, each participant is fully qualified and well versed in the ways of scuba diving.

Recently, Rich Coast Diving has launched a new diving program designed to catch the interest of even seasoned divers. The program is said to be very demanding due to its tough activities. The program starts with recreational diving and goes all the way up to TEC deep diving.

The company is known for its special attention to its guests, whether they are divers, snorkelers or just media people there to record the rich beauty of Costa Rica and Playas del Coco. Rich Coast Diving also indulges those divers who appreciate a more personalized touch than a generic scuba program. These divers are divided into smaller groups than usual and are taken on dive tours on small but comfortable boats and these dives focus mostly on the area of Playas del Coco.

Rich Coast Diving is also a part of the famous Central American travel program ‘Trekcats’. This travel program focuses on planning extensive and highly detailed trips in Central and Latin America. The organization is highly respected and has gained quite a reputation because of its enjoyable and well-planned tours and excursions. Rich Coast Diving has also received a “100% Aware” award.

The dive packages of Rich Coast Diving are very well thought out and fully detailed. They have four host hotels in the area of Playa del Coco. These include the Toro Blanco Resort, Coco Palms Hotel, Villa del Sol and Marina Loft. All the rooms are fully equipped with a small kitchenette, a coffee maker and a mini fridge.
