Discover Scuba Course
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to breathe underwater and float among a plethora of colorful marine creatures? Discover Scuba Course is a course for first-timers to learn the basic rules of diving in shallow waters. While it is not a certified course, it is still a great program to try out diving and find out whether you like it or not. The course is one day long for only $150.00 and includes two tanks and two dives. The first session is in the pool followed by dives at Playa Las Manchas beach.
Two Tank Local Dives
The local dives take place in Tambor’s amazing dive sites, which are La Chancha / Chanchito and Los Muertos. Situated in Bahia Ballena, La Chancha is well known for its impressive wildlife such Eagle Rays, Scorpion Fishes, and Gorgonias at the depth of 8 to 24 meters. Los Muertos has a huge range of octopuses, Manta rays, sea-turtles, porcupine fish, snappers, and much more. The customers are picked up from their accommodations on Montezuma and are taken to Tambor through a boat ride. The 4 hour long course is for $120.00 and includes equipment rental and snacks.
Two Tank Dives at Tortuga Island:
Tortuga Island is quite well-known for its dive and snorkel point and its diverse wildlife. For just $60.00, explore the aquatic wonders of the isle. If there are snorkelers in your group, they can come along with you for only $50.00. The customers are picked up from their accommodations, and are taken to Tortuga Island through a boat ride. You can try out fishing on your way to the island. In the months between August and January, you will have a delightful encounter with whales and dolphins. At El Cueva, there is a good chance of seeing a sleeping white-tip reef shark.
Scuba Certification Course
Isla Tortuga Dive Club offers internationally certified courses that involve theory sessions, five pool classes and five ocean dives. The program allows divers to swim anywhere across the world. It takes about 5 days to complete. The rate is $450.00.
