Along with dive courses, snorkel trips are organized as well. With Flamingo Beach Resort, traverse the clear waters of Guanacaste. The water condition is excellent almost all year round with great visibility and depth ranging from 35 feet to 100 feet. The temperature is tropically moderate averaging from 30 to 32 Centigrade. The best season for diving is green which is from May to November.
The PADI dive center of Flamingo Beach Resort is partners with Tam Travel and Aqua Center Diving. Besides PADI courses, certified SSI and NAUI courses are also available. The boat leaves for Catalina Islands at 7:30 a.m and returns to the dock at 12 p.m. Dive-masters and PADI instructors supervise the tourists. After two very animated dives, have free snacks and refreshments on board. The rates for 2-tank dives are $100 per person per day. It includes BCD, mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, regulators, weight and weight belt. To spend more time underwater, you can easily customize the package. The beginners should try the Discover Scuba Diving Resort Course. It consists of one lesson in the pool followed by an open water dive. People under the age of 12 are not allowed to participate and those who are above 50 must have a signed document by their doctors to confirm their good health. It is only an experience course and divers are not certified. The rates are $150 per person per day involving two dives. A 3 day course for only $365 is suitable for divers on vacation for a limited time. After a session of 3 poolside practice, 3 theory classes and 2 open water dives, clients are given a dive card. The card allows them to continue their course on their next trip. For just $520, take a 5 days long Open Water Certification Course. It involves five theory sessions, five poolside-training lessons, and four open water dives. Take Referral Dives and complete your open water training for $420. It includes equipment and dive cards. Guests who prefer to snorkel, Flamingo Beach Resort Dive Center provides enchanting snorkeling trips for only $65 per person.
