Costa Rica Adventure Divers plan excursions around the southern Pacific coast of the country. For scuba diving, Adventure Divers take you to the small but spectacular Cano Island. As the isle is a protected nature reserve, it has various unspoiled sites. The water encircling the island is flourishing with marine life. The visibility of water is excellent with a range of 45 to 90 feet and the temperature is moderate as well. On the dive, encounter large schools of reef and pelagic fish, sea-turtles, devil rays, sting rays, white-tip reef sharks, and on your lucky dive, catch a glimpse of the mysterious bull-sharks. Costa Rica Adventure Divers use a well-known brand of equipment for instance Sherwood O’Neill and other such top brands. The appliances comprise of regulators, gauges, masks, fins, snorkels, 3 mm neoprene wet-suits, and BCDs. Furthermore, they carry a certified pure air-station. The company offers various courses that include everything from basic open water dives to divemaster apprenticeship taught by PADI instructors. The number of divers on a boat is usually 4 to 6 or 10 at the most. The company has small and fast boats that are captained by PADI instructors or divemasters. All boats carry first-aid equipment and a certified oxygen provider kit. The scuba tanks have 12 liter aluminum and consist of current visual and hydrostatic tests. Scuba diving at Cano Island with Costa Rica Adventure Divers begins early in the morning at 7:30 a.m. It takes almost an hour to reach the dive sites. The time of departure is between 2 to 3 p.m.
Scuba Diving Packages:
$115 for 2 tank dive and $155 for 3 tank dive at Cano Island.
The divers who want to rent all the equipment, the package will cost $20 extra.
Diving Courses:
$75 for a scuba review course.
$190 for a non-certified, one day resort course. The package includes equipment, 1 tank and 1 dive.
$340 for a private open water course.
$250 for referral dives.
